Grew up in Appalachian Mountains of NC and didn’t wear shoes often. Played soccer in high school and had the worst haircut of all time. Went to UNC-Chapel Hill and studied photojournalism. Interned at the Chicago Tribune and fell in love with Chicago. Had two beautiful kids and felt the overwhelming love of motherhood. Started snowboarding and haven’t broken anything. Learned to appreciate every moment on this beautiful planet and treat each day as a gift. And, other than my children, taking photos has been the greatest gift of all. Thank you for stopping by.
