Recipe for Change is an incredible program created by @bruno_abate_tocco that is transforming the lives of incarcerated men and women through culinary instruction. So when I was invited to photograph women in this program at Cook County Jail, it was an honor to be part of something so meaningful.

With a phenomenal team, we set out to do more than take photos—we wanted these women to feel seen, human, and beautiful. Watching that transformation unfold was powerful.

Truthfully, the experience changed us just as much as it did them.

We are creating a book to support this mission and help shift the narrative. These are not just prisoners—they are people with stories, humanity, and the hope for a second chance.
